Hi Everyone!

We're now running the latest lemmy 0.19 release, you can see more details here: https://lemmy.ca/post/11378137

Note that you will need to re-enable 2FA on your account, all users had it turned off as part of this

You will most likely need to log out and back in for your client to work properly.

Thank you!

and updates on if we'll be able to donate to lemmy.ca in the near future? I know non-profit status was a goal before

Since this update i haven't been able to log back into liftoff. Any solution to that yet? It says "instance not found" when I put in lemmy.ca

There seems to be an issue with uploading large images. I don't know if anyone else has noticed it but I'm getting the error when trying to upload wallpapers to /c/wallpapers. I think it might be related to file size? Or maybe file format? It's a 13MB .png file. I don't remember running into issues with the old version when posting similar content.

Pictrs wasn't touched in the upgrade, try a different file format? Might be the png

Thanks! I'll try converting the file format and see if that'll work. I successfully uploaded a JPEG last night, so maybe it just doesn't like PNG files anymore 🤷‍♂️
