Late bloomer here, I only discovered the fun of Weed last September, in my mid-30s. Yesterday evening at around 9, for the first time I smoked alone at home (I usually kept it restricted to be a "social" thing with friends). After a really eye-opening experience about my own thoughts and personality, I fell asleep and went to work today. It's now 14:25, I'm at work, and I still feel somewhat high. Good mood, a bit slow to follow conversations, reggae sounds amazing, the sun is out, beautiful people look beautiful.

Is it normal to have such a long lasting good mood after getting high?

Anyways, this is awesome and you people here on Lemmy are awesome as well.

Sadly but obiviously the effects will be less eye-opening with continuous use. You just get used to it.

Damn, even if I do it like only every 2 months?

Eventually yes i guess. But it will take a long ass time, so don't worry about it.

Most users can't stay away for month though ;)

Every two months will not be often enough to keep up any tolerance that would diminish the next session. Should be the same intensity of effects each time, but of course it will become more familiar and less unique over time just due to gaining experience.
