Who should we trust more:

the 3 military personnel/whistleblower who requested to be sworn in under oath

Or the person who frequently denies to be put under oath and instead vents on LinkedIn

I see that too on Memmy but it shows blank on everyone but myself.

I have a feeling that Memmy just reuses the profile page view for everyone.

Wonder if this was why "Only Up!" was taken off the steam this morning.

Red box (lemmynsfw.com)

Read an article about building a Redbox either on the 2600 Usenet group or some other hack/phreak BBS probably around 1993. Went to radio shack the next day to buy the tone dialer and crystal. I messed up the solder pretty bad but it still works to this day.

I wonder if it's because [email protected] sidebar and rules say:

This Community is intended for posts about the Lemmy.world server.

That means announcements from the team, issues you see etc.

There's so much spam in this community already. People are using it as a catch-all community

If anyone would like to join an amateur radio lemmy instance or post to an amateur radio specific community, https://lemmy.radio has been set up.

SOTA was the biggest reason I got into amateur radio. Love mixing radio/tech with getting out in the fresh air.

thank you! that's exactly what I was looking for. Was originally testing and added lemmy.world as an allowed instance and was wondering why federation wasn't working. TYSM!

I recently spun up my own lemmy instance and was wondering if I had to manually add other lemmy instances to the 'Allowed Instances' admin field, or if they are added automatically when someone searches for a lemmy instance?

You can search your mastodon account for @[email protected] or do something like https://mastodon.social/@[email protected]

Yeah, that's the biggest thing that turned me away from using kbin. It almost seems like it wants the community/posts from its instance to be the de facto ones. /tin foil hat

Yep! I've had issue direct searching for kbin communities here and communities from here on kbin though. I think that kbin federates very slowly.

Examples:

https://lemmy.world/c/[email protected]

https://kbin.social/m/[email protected]

Yea I wouldn’t mind knowing what the average storage size would be. I’m usually a linode user and I saw they were going to bring up adding lemmy to its marketplace.

So what do you need to talk to a $100 billion space station? As it turns out, about $60 worth of stuff will do.

Trying to login with Firefox on my iPhone just sets the submit button spinning but won’t sign me in. I can login with safari on my iPhone though.

Ted Kaczynski, known as the Unabomber, was found dead in his prison cell Saturday morning, according to a Federal Bureau of Prisons spokesperson. He was 81.

Are there any websites that show any awesome graphs or charts for data that lemmy generates? Usage, user signups, post creation, comments, etc...? I have to imagine the fediverse generates some pretty amazing data.

Not sure why carpet in the bathroom gets so much hate. Drying off is as easy as rolling around on the floor.
