Oh, thanks. Good to know. But Trump could still pardon him the minute after and DC is a great place to kill your political opponents.

So the constitution was built to fail. Got it.

Especially with this ridiculous pardon rights of the president. Trump could just order some fanatic FBI agent to shoot Letitia James and pardon him even in advance.

A surprising amount of work is utterly useless.

Probably the whole reason behind it. A tax that your deeply tax-hating clientele is not recognizing. And also a regressive tax, that hurts poor people disproportionately harder then rich people, compared to taxes like income tax.

Buy it later, if possible. Companies abroad are well aware that costumers won't buy their products while tariffs are in place. But it's very likely that those tarrifs will end or be massively reduced after some weeks or months. Buy it then and those companies can sell those products to you just like nothing happened. They can wait some time, it doesn't really matter to them when you buy it.

The same goes off course for buying before the tarrifs take effect. Like apple fans are right now emptying the iPhone shelfs, before the tarrifs hit the component imports from China.

Of course that only works with certain products, that you can actually afford to wait for.

I think you made a good point that highlights the change of anarchist ideas over time. I dint think many modern anarchists would be fine with this model nowadays. But anarchists back then came from a time where monarchists still ruled and even the idea of democracy and equality was kind of radical. So they had probably different ideas of authority and freedom.

This is really good. I'm impressed.

LotR is really, really old. It's another time with different reading habits and writing culture. It's just logical it can't really compete with current literature. It might beba masterpiece but when the audience changes its just not so appealing anymore.

In the anarchist brigades in the Spanish Civil War soldiers elected their officers democratically. In combat they still had ultimate command authority but afterwards soldiers could replace then if they where disappointed in their decisions.

Disclaimer: I'm not a vegan.

they gladly eat food grown by slaves

They don't. Certainly not more then carnivores. In fact much more vegans buy local, organic and/or fairtrade food then carnivores.

But even if: buying slave products is not what veganism is about. Its completely useless to judge the specific decision to be a vegan by any other lifestyle aspects the particular individuals have, as long as its not tied to this very decision. If Hitler was the only vegan on earth, that wouldn't mean veganism is a bad thing.

If you actually wanna guilt this

Being a moralizing prick

All OP did was stating a simple fact. If you feel the need to outrage over science, then the problem is certainly not OP.
