I really don't like those diamond blocks that you need to stick a rod into it ^to keep it stable^.

Why do you have to install Usb-Drivers on Windows, but I never had to do it on Linux? in c/[email protected]

Basic functions of HID should still work under windows for the same reason why they work mod-less under Linux. But when those devices are not HID-conform then you would need drivers/a kernel-mod.
