There are issues with comments on version 0.18.3. 0.18.4 was released a few weeks ago to help with this but feddit.uk has not been updated.

Looking at the mod log, it seems the last moderation action on feddit.Uk was a month ago. It could be nothing needed modding. Though I do hope that Tom is okay.
There was a post a couple of weeks ago about adding some extra admins but it doesn’t seem to have happened yet.
I also noticed that the instance is running a previous version of the software. (The latest has a bug fix)
It’s concerning that it’s all too much for one person @[email protected] . I’m more concerned about the person than the risk of defederation if things get out of hand.
When they mess up (which happens a lot), why does he always go down the “you’ve hurt my feelings, we are only human route” ? That’s why they never learn from their mistakes and carry on acting like fools.
I can’t be bothered watching most of their videos anymore because they are so superficial, it’s clear he’s done no or little research and (if it’s on a topic I’ve got some interest in) I can see it’s really innacurate.
Comments don’t always load properly on 0.18.3 (there’s a few other bug fixes as well)
Will the instance be updated to 0.18.4 to resolve the issue with comments?
Third attempt to post this:
I think it’s still broken.
I’ve had more “timed out messages” from feddit.uk
I just don’t understand what’s different with feddit.uk compared to the other instances I have accounts on. 🤔 Happy to try troubleshooting if it will help.
Thank you
A few people have reported that the downvote button disappears and re-appears.
(Some instances don’t allow downvotes but that’s not what’s happening here)
Please can you point me in the right direction? I can find a few things on GitHub but they seem at a very early stage.
Yes, but that isn’t the point of the post.
I’ve been asking this for a while but @tom doesn’t seem to be around. I hope everything is okay.
