On mine I had to use a BIOS flasher tool since it was locked and Dev mode wasn't allowed to be enabled (think it was due to enterprise enrollment), though flashing the image directly worked like a charm following the unbricking guide.

Tip, you can put full Linux on most chromebooks and chromeos devices. I've done it before mrchromebox.tech

Whenever I try to report a message in my DMs it says "Couldn't Create Report" this is extremely annoying and also probably problematic because people need to be able to report abusive or rule breaking DMs and if it gives them an error it's likely that people in that position will not report them and instead simply block the person.

Can we maybe get this problem fixed, or if it's intentional can we get an explanation why it was done?

It's a bit more complex but that is the basic idea, let them discover themselves on their own and respect their identity as stated by them.

This shouldn't even be a debate or question. This hateful bullshit against Blahaj just needs to stop and mods need to put their foot down and say enough is enough. Like if this kind of shit arguing against a queer friendly instance for being queer friendly is okay or permitted I don't think that [email protected] should even be on our instance anymore, and our admins should just remove it.

I hope it doesn't come to that. I hope this community can put an end to this bullshit and stop endorsing queerphobic users' complaints.

The word futa or futanari is a term I unfortunately see used against trans women and actual intersex people. It is a term which originated in porn and anime to describe someone with both types of genitals, usually though it just refers to someone who looks feminine and has a penis. So it's no surprise it's very often used to describe non-op trans women primarily. Because it's often used in porn it carries strong connotations of sexualization and dehumanization, it reduces the person being called futa to an object of sexual desire and doesn't respect them as a person.

This term is extremely disrespectful and really has no place being used, especially in reference to trans women. Additionally because of its relation to porn people who use it will almost certainly be seen as chasers.

And you deleted your comment immediately... that doesn't make you look sus at all /s

@[email protected] I think I found one of drag's alts.

[โ€“] [email protected] 4 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Either you have issues with reading comprehension or you are an alt of drag. When people say someone is being sus or has been sus they generally mean they as a person are behaving in ways that make others suspicious.

Hi I just wanted to let ya'll know that user [email protected] seems to have created a "free speech" community, could also be read as "freeze peach" as stated in the sidebar. A lot of their content is either trolling, a handful of conspiracy theories, and even a few calls to action. It is my opinion that this community isn't permitted on this instance.

The creator of the community also appears to have many alt accounts, same username, different instances they all moderate his community.

That's your opinion, but many people do not agree with you. I myself would be pissed if you shared our DM convo without asking me first, or even letting me know you were going to. I can see why Ada would and why she did what she did, it's disrespectful and adversarial.

[โ€“] [email protected] 26 points 2 months ago (4 children)

It ultimately isn't surprising. Drag has been very sus from the beginning, drag exhibited a lot of behaviors that made me leery. Though at the time I didn't say anything since it was only a hunch and most people were just voicing transphobic complaints about pronouns.

Already said it in [email protected] but I'll say it again so others can see it here.

It seems drag was banned from the site for sharing people's DMs, though I'm sure that's not the whole story, drag has a history of being banned for way more than just the thing on the label. Looking at the comments on drag's home instance where it hasn't been removed, it seems drag was sharing those DMs in attempt to libel Ada for not taking the action drag wanted. That's on top of the fact that she did not give drag permission to share them. It's an asshole move for sure, and I have to say if I were in Ada's shoes I'd do the same.

I'd agree in most cases where someone does it without knowing, though in those cases where people are persistent and keep going after being asked to stop a strong or even hostile response like this one may be unfortunately necessary. Kind of like intentional misgendering ya know.

Also none of them have any legs...

[โ€“] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago

Hell yeah! I would push it in a heartbeat. I've always wished I was a bit taller.

[โ€“] [email protected] 6 points 2 months ago

Agreed. It's important to just listen to people and use the labels they identify with. Forcing labels onto others isn't cool.
