I lived in an apartment without an ac and I also wasn’t allowed to install a window ac.

I ended up buying a portable ac which got the job done well enough. They’re not perfect but they’re miles better than open windows with box fans.

They’re already starting to layoff non probationary employees.

From talking with my wife it looks like the formula determines who gets to stay based on some like “competitive area” math and a primary part of it is time in service.

I got one the other day that summarized a message from my 75 year old mom as a conspiracy theory. I can’t imagine having the confidence to mark a clients message as a conspiracy theory even if it 100% was.

I’m spending this weekend watching all the Stephen King credited movies I can find that I haven’t watched yet.

This one was slightly less shittier than I thought it’d be. The main character definitely carries the whole movie.

I played my first real Pokémon game a short while back and was so surprised at just how shit it was. Before that I only played like fan games of Pokémon like pokerogue, showdown, and the Minecraft ones.

I can’t wrap my head around why you can’t change the animation speed in the real games. I only got a few hours in before I got tired of watching Pokémon terastalize into some crystal abomination with a stupid hat.

My brother and dad are both pastry chefs. Since the Great Recession they both claim to be recession indicators.

Anyways, with spring/summer coming they’re both saying how things feel off and their GMs are crunching on spending.
