I use Comprehensible Japanese which uses the concept of Comprehensible Input to teach the language. The website has a nice guide on the concept: https://cijapanese.com/guide/intro
French and English natively. I did learn Russian at school for 7 years (but I forgot most of it now), and I am currently learning Japanese.
I really like the idea of having to be subscribed to a community in order to be able to vote. It would encourage people to use the correct tools (subscribe/block) if they like or don't like a community itself.
It won't be for this game that I don't care about, but seeing the recent trend of requiring ray tracing, I will probably have a good reason to build a new computer (you served me well 1070 Ti) !
Or maybe I'll stick to only playing games that work on a Steam Deck. I might not game enough anymore to justify the cost of new hardware. Especially when I look at the current AAA games (which would probably be the ones requiring RT), none of them really make me want to buy them anymore.
I'm quite surprised by the fact that so many people here seem to be bothered by that. To me, having friends and family also means helping each other when we can. I am good with tech, but I am awful with many other things, and I am really glad that I do know that my family and friends will also help me.
I understand the concept of a block (even if they don't really exist in my city), but that doesn't really give me an idea of the actual distance, so it's a pretty useless information to me. Using proper standard metrics makes much more sense.
Thanks to your comment (and this post), I discovered that Rawb now has a peertube instance. I used to follow him when he was actively doing pokémon nuzlocks and also URealms.
jlai.lu is basically reddit (as "read it") but written in French
I guess in the US pharmacies aren't located near doctors ? Even in cities ? Where I'm from I usually just have to walk 3-5 minutes if not less to find a pharmacy after I went to the doctor.
I think I already have trouble understanding why a pharmacy has the need for a drive through
Close to my home, there is a crossing without traffic lights next to the bus stop I get off at. I can't count the number of times a car, or even more frequently a motorbike, coming from the right (which means I am in the middle of the crossing) sped up in order to be able to go through in front of me. And of course, most of the time they end up having to hard break in order to not run me over, and they still manage to complain (and most of the time while honking) that I am crossing at a crossing.
France put in a place the Hadopi in 2010 (now part of the Arcom) specifically to target people torrenting copyrighted stuff.
