It might look dumb

You're wearing toe socks already so that ship has sailed.

Connect for Lemmy. I like the simpler ways.

Not really. It depends on the game and also the individual. About 50/50 I suppose. Games like Warframe, Skyrim, Civ or generally competitive games tend to be the ones where you'd find more people with quadruple digits of playtime rather than let's say more narrowed down single player experiences (without mod support) though there are some cases for those too ofc.

There is no argument to be had.

Folding. It's the most economic, efficient and way more scalable with thinner sheets of toilet paper as well. People who crumple are on the same level as kids from kindergarten.

So wtf is rolling? You roll it around your entire hand and wipe? That has to be the worst way to do it unless you had explosive diarrhea.

Nobody can deny it because it's true. Everyone on that specific thread already got the news and only in rare cases relatives or the victims themselves see the comments. If it's even gonna help them feel better is another slim chance in that case. Now, you could argue that it "boosts visibility with the added engagement. But I really doubt that's anything such a commenter has in mind. It is for themselves mostly.

Some people on Lemmy act all high and mighty while considering themselves as "different" from all the regular social media normies owned by corpos. But they're still the same here as well. Just a different coat of paint.

And I'm not even just referring to this post or even this community or instance. They are all just as retarded and lack any self awareness as much as all the other people online.

  • Warframe, Apex (~1000h respectively, my mainstream ones as I've played those with friends mostly)

  • Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 ~700h, probably my most favourite game of all time

  • Street Fighter 6 ~700h

  • Dragon Ball FighterZ ~600h, not a fan of versus games but tried with this one nevertheless

  • GG Strive also around 600h, hated the game during the entire time and regret the time spent with it to an extend. Got gaslight by devs statements and community that there was still "much to dig into the system despite the heavy simplification for mainstream appeal". There was not. Characters are as deep as my bathtub.

  • Blazblue franchise ~150ish hours across multiple titles and platforms maybe. Difficult to say as I played some of those on the PS3.

  • Dark Souls 3 ~100h

  • Dead Or Alive 5 ~80h

Looking at that list, I didn't play much single player games comparatively over the years which is a shame since I know I currently enjoy those way more. But the hours are spread around more among different titles as well so they didn't make the list.

Assignment was to find a poem and anon did. Where's the punchline here?

Too high for me. But knowledge can be based on empirical data as well so I don't think it's that fragile. Would be quite the reach imo

I've been wondering, since I'm on lemmy.world, whether there is a way to see which instances were defederated and I had no way of knowing even existed from here.

Another question I have is that the dude who replied just now. I could see his comment in my inbox but when opening the thread it's empty (even though it says it has one comment). This also happens with other threads.

I'm on Connect btw.
