I love how he looks like a cult leader in almost every picture.

Man I need to get my scope out again. It’s been years. Maybe one of these days…

I thought you meant the recent ‘Dark Matter’ on AppleTV and got really confused for a minute. Although apparently they share an actor.

Watched Severance, FOR THE GLORY OF THE EMPIRE

Yeah I am a huge Framework fan (have one of their laptops and love it) but I at first had a hard time figuring out who this was for. Some other people in this thread have had some good comments about it, but for me personally this is completely useless.

They look so cheap.

Paul, is you at this place?

I’ve never seen that neutral good one, love it.

Have you started season 2 yet?

Dylan G from Severance.

Beautiful cover of a beautiful song. Still haven't beaten the game myself, one of these days I'll figure it out.

Looks really good! I never finished Talos Principle so I might just pick this up when it lands.

So picked this up in the recent Steam sale and just finished it. What does everyone think? I liked it, though I definitely enjoyed the earlier portions more, when it felt more grounded than fantastical. I would love to see a game centered around LeBlanc and his time as a PI before Kay returns. I feel like that would be a good setting to really dig into this awesome dystopia that was created here.

Disappointing, but I get why they're doing it.

Hello all! Looking for any advice or thoughts from anyone else in a similar position. One of our cats has been super congested (whenever he is active you can especially hear it) for a few weeks now. I know most cats always have a low level viral respiratory infection (especially shelter cats), but last Tuesday (9/3) I took him to the vet and they said he may have a secondary bacterial infection so they gave him a shot of antibiotics and said he should be better in a week or two. Today, he still sounds just as bad and stuffed up. I also tried having him in the bathroom while I ran the shower hot and it seemed to loosen up a little, but it still sounds almost as bad.

Anyone have a similar experience? I am planning on taking him back to the vet early next week if it doesn't improve over the weekend but I'd rather avoid the bill if this is more of a 'wait it out' situation.

How is it in 2024 now that it’s finished? A lot of reviews I see are based on when it originally came out but I’m curious about the current state of the game. With it being on sale now it seems like it’s worth it even with flaws.

For some context, I’m not a huge city-builder guy (I’ve played some here and there) but the sci-fi setting and the narrative are what interest me here. I don’t really care about replayability as long as one play through is entertaining enough.

Any thoughts?

I saw this and thought, well yeah that VP is right, cold calls are annoying spam. However, based on the insane comments by all the salespeople, you'd be wrong. Like, are salespeople that out of touch with normal people?

So I've been doing a deep dive into all this stuff recently, I find it to be fun and interesting. However, I'm having trouble figuring out exactly what all these whistleblowers are alleging. Basically, the idea is that there is a secretive group of USG employees that know what is going on with UAPs and researching stuff, but Congress and the President know nothing of it and have no oversight of it? Is it just a bunch of high-ranking military people who pass the knowledge on to their successor when they retire? Or is the idea that all of these whistleblowers and Congress are in on it and this is all part of a slow 'controlled disclosure' scenario? Or is it a combined scenario where some members of the Executive Branch DO know about it but others don't?

Obviously, there are no hard and fast answers to this, I just feel like I keep hearing conflicting things about who in the USG knows what, and wondering if there is any kind of rough consensus about this? Probably a fools errand, but I figured I'd at least ask.

Anyone else have fond memories of Star Control 2?

Been waiting my whole adult life for this one!
