In the comments she gave a coupon code for Aki fine foods.

"ALSO: Please use code BuyCanadian20 for 20% off your next order as a special thank you."

Their gratitude alone is so sweet. I'm so happy this dark time can undo some damage from covid.

Oh my gosh, I don't think info like this is found anywhere on the internet, thank you.

I wasn't worried for the cat, maybe the fact that they could control a boat made it seem like plot armor.

I was surprised about the other thing though.

Flow is very relaxing to watch.

It's part of its beauty is that there is no speech and the takes are really long with smooth and slow camera movements. I think it doesn't take a lot of processing to watch.

My dog watches this movie in silence, I've seen this movie once. He's seen it 3 times 😅

Sometimes, when uploading to some sites, if I upload images with resolution and size within the correct parameters, the server doesn't re-compress the images. If the images do get compressed, then they come out looking degraded.

I don't know if those settings are per-server.

Does anyone know if there is a preferred resolution, file type and file size for photos and videos on pixelfed in general or pixelfed.ca?

Hey I can see people interpreting it that way. Like binging on social media, except this isn't addicting so you just get fed then live on with your life.

I do think pixelfed.ca sounds more organic.

At the register a new account page .

When I try to register, the form just deletes the passwords and unchecks the “I am at least 16 years old” box.

Sign up doesn't seem to be working on desktop for me either..

Thank you!

I want to join Pixelfed, I joined a server but it isn't even updated to work with the app yet.

So I've been eagerly anticipating the fedecan one because I'm sure you guys will do a great job.

I couldn't see converting a lot of friends over to lemmy, but Pixelfed and loops is something I can see my friends being interested in.

It's kind of an interesting technique if they did indeed use a photo of the original sunset and just used it to increase dynamic range.

But I think it might have been a cloudless sunset, and they wanted moooreeeee.

This is so interesting. Because there was definitely a sunset in the same place because of the jittery refracted lens flare you get on small lenses with image stabilisation showing a bright sun was indeed there.

But there appears to be rotoscoping on the foreground, especially visible on the edges of the snow on the roof.

But there is definitely a beautiful sunset casting orange glow on the landscape.

So it looks like they took a picture of the same sunset separately and composited it to the background to effectively increase the dynamic range.

Am I right?

An assessment of windscribes European performance is helpful because I had no idea.

I'm in Canada (windscribe is Canadian), and find windscribe to be pretty good. So maybe it depends on location.
