This guy indeed contributes to goonification... the video is so fast paced like it's meant for Gen-Zs lol

It's been captured by people who are involved in politics.. I'm not surprised tbh..

With all due respect, not knowing why authoritarism is bad is what's ironic, you'd have to be living in a utopia for you to not recognize why forcing a population to obey certain rules is bad..

but if it makes you feel better... I wouldn't remove your post if I was the mod.. It's not how i roll

I think the mod found the question well... No offense... Stupid... But don't waste your energy trying to get sympathy here, people are usually biased towards Mods.. So even if they're in the wrong, they'll get a pass, I been there.. they removed your post, rephrase it and post it someplace else... don't make a huge deal out of it..

If your terms of service aren't enforced across the board, it's because they're shady to begin with.. If technical users can opt out, so should non technical users

Exactly, we were worried about Google implementing web DRM, (Web Integrity API), we were worried about Governments "asking" web browsers to censor websites, we were worried about MV3... only for the web browser that we trust to become the backdoor itself.. Or should I say... the frontdoor.. It's more fitting

Honestly, I'm starting to think it's for the best.. Firefox downfall will make people invest in an alternative web engine, I'm thinking that would be Servo, all it's left is for forks to switch to it, of course that would mean they'll be responsible for all the features and patches (which is huge work), that'll require a fundraiser, and after that figure ways to make money such as an integrated VPN, Cloud Features such as notes, public bookmarks... Etc

All we need is determination, Mozilla won't save us, I mean ... save the web

What does "owning the libs" even mean? and he went from podcaster to FBI deputy director, what?!

Edit

they have a link directly to their dan bongino section

That's not a section, I got worried there for a second..(I thought he's an investor of some sort) That's an affiliate link section, he gets a commission for spreading the word that Startpage exists.. It's up to you if you wanna look at it as just business or something else.. I think everyone deserves privacy even the Bonjino audience

Firefox the flatpak version crashed and decided to remove itself from the system, is this common on Linux??

I checked thru Discover and terminal using whereis firefox and all I got is user/lib64/firefox

I should be mad, but I find this too hilarious to be mad.. lol.. files disappear not entire apps
