Evangelicals (who are massive Trumpers) are pro-Israel because a Jewish state is part of their end times beliefs (not to be confused with anything found in the Bible). They hate Jews otherwise.

Democrats need to keep doing stuff like this often and regularly. But I fear they’ll just take the rest of the year off….

I had heard the 1918 outbreak affected 20/30-somethings more than other age groups.
Vote them out (if we’re still allowed to vote when that time comes). In the meantime, let them know how you feel. Letters, postcards, emails, phone calls, comments on their social media: all of these things. Be civil, be smart. But you gotta do something.
My healthcare provider had me tested for Measles antibodies because apparently that shit can wear off after 50 years in some people. I was still good with Mumps and Rubella, but was wide open to Measles. So I got an MMR vaccine (available at Walgreens, CVS, etc) and I’m good to go. So if you’re over 50, you might want to get tested or simply just ask your your doctor for their opinion about getting another shot.

In looking up a link, I see they indeed were drawing from Old Testament scripture to build their end times claims. I was told all this by a childhood friend whose church was teaching it. He was not shy about what happens to the Jews the minute Christ returns (they die first). Israel being established is part of the claims, but the next step is rebuilding the Temple. The Temple site is located on the spot where The Dome of the Rock sits. So it’ll be a problem to rebuild…
