Facebook, for me and the people I know, has become a message board where I know all the players. I don't friend people from school or work, but instead people from conventions and hobbies, of which Facebook groups I also belong to and interact.

This right here. Why buy an EV when I can get an Acura for like $24k? Once they become comparable in price to the cheapest ICE cars then sales will boom.

One of my older ones was "WeDontHaveWifi" because people would say "what's your wifi?" and we would tell them that and sometimes they would say "ohh, ok" and not ask for the password, haha. Password, incidentally, was "whatPassword?"

Aren't there other supplemental heat options, too? So if it's "too cold" they can put a gas or electric warmer on the system to bring the temp up. With their 200%+ efficiency it would be like running a space heater.

More of this. And more use of the No Fly list. It's enough of a P.I.T.A. to fly without someone being a jerk. Everyone should act like they're in a library.

I never really liked Twitter, either, and joined Mastodon in 2019 for fun. I'm very active in it, now, as I have spent the time curating the stuff I want to see. I interact with watercolor artists, green technology enthusiasts, "good news" orgs, sustainability advocates, and travel photographers. It takes a bit of work to set up, first, but the biggest thing is to search keywords as hashtags and follow everyone you think you might like and interact often with them. You can always unfollow, later.
