I dont think the person you replied to talkes about morals but about legality. I do not know about the laws in your country but copyright infringement is a real crime that could allow the police to search my home and seize my devices. Nobody here would argue about csam beeing worse but that was not the point for sure.

Honestly i am pretty amazed that he shows balls like this. I am very sure that many people will call him a p* because of this clip. I still think he slightly missed the point though. The reason why one should not give a damn about lolicon or people looking at is is because it does not harm anyone. Pretending like this would turn someone pedophile is like pretending that watching gay scenes will turn you gay. Spoiler: It wont (but some people probably believe this). Another talking point is how it might lead to people seeking out real children. This is the same like saying shooters or assassination games will turn you into a murderer. Most adults i know can differantiate between fiction and reality.

TLDR: just because something is disturbing you does not mean it is harmful. If you can not actually show how something causes any harm you should not get outraged.

Also projection is a real thing but i doubt that every outraged person is a pedophile.

i honestly doubt that the U.N. could end those but the Nations that reside in the U.N. could. This might sound like a stupid point to make but the U.N. mostly is a communication-forum, an effort to have nations talk to each other and to make working together easier. The U.N. might ratify something concerning world hunger or poverty but without the member states doing something about it nothing will happen. The U.N. simply has no power to force something onto nations. That is also why the U.N. will not be able to ban lolis. It is rather a comdenmation, which is also bad.

But yeah, i too see this as a pr-stunt. People are so infatuated with pedophilia-hate that they will turn their brain off at the mention of the word.
