Feel like you have something to post, but it's not really relevant to any of the current communities, and you don't feel like it's worth making an entirely new community just to post it? This is the place for that.

NSFW content is allowed in this community so long as you mark it as per site rules.

And how would the Nintendies and Nvidiots react to this? This is a completely off the wall random hypothetical that popped into my head just now.

They were one of the biggest userbases that was still federated.

  1. Is this 3D?
  2. Is this (nsfw) 3D?
  3. Is this (nsfw) 3D?
  4. Is this 3D (nsfw) allowed?
  5. Is the 3D rule limited to loli/shota content?

If all above is allowed, then where is the limit of what is allowed?

edit: I just reread, does "No IRL/3D NSFL" simply mean that 3D block is limited only to NSFL content?

In my head I was thinking, you say this as you post using your reddit account. (I don't have a reddit account and refuse to get one so I couldn't reply.)

But this lemming probably used their Goolag account to sign up, because it's le convenient.

You can send a GDPR or CPRA request here: https://www.reddit.com/settings/data-request These are screenshots of my profile on June 14th before and after overwriting and then deleting all my posts with Powerdelete. Today, June 16th all my posts have been restored by Reddit without my knowledge or consent. #redditblackout #redditmigration #kbin #lemmy

Sorry, newb fediverse question:

For example, I can browse here through sh.itjust.works/c/[email protected] just fine. But I can't seem to browse, say, [email protected]. I think I read that a user on one instance has to attempt to browse a community in a federated instance, before it will appear on the first instance? But animemes 404s, while the federation clearly works because I can see general. Does it just take some time?

I'm just trying to get an account which is on a well-federated instance. I want access to posting free-speech instances like burggit, but I also want access to post on mainstream instances like lemmy.world which defed burggit. I actually started on lemmy.world but switched to sh.itjust.works after looking at which their defeds were (literally just burggit lol).

For that matter, if I want to find burggit communities that are new to me, am I mostly stuck browsing the burggit front page, which means I'm logged out of my sh.itjust.works account?

What I really want is a good way to browse an instance's local front page, theme and all, while being logged in on another instance and still able to vote and post. I guess that's going to come in the form of some app/browser extension we don't have yet though.

Not too surprised, though it's assuring seeing them doubling down on this path and the enshittification will continue. Better jump the ship sooner than later.

Right on the main sidebar of the site it says:

We do not respect DMCA, complaints related to such matters are thrown directly in the trash, by us and our hosts.

While I think that's awesome, before I post something that might have copyrighted content, the sidebar lists the first rule of the site as:

No illegal content under Netherlands law

While I'm not a citizen of the Netherlands, I'm pretty sure that distributing copyrighted material is illegal under NL law.

So I did a little research... And, while I dont speak Dutch, I tried using Google Translate and I'm very sure that the distribution of copyrighted material is illegal in the Netherlands.

There might be legal grey areas or caveats I don't understand. That's why I'm making this post. What's the official stance of Burggit on posting copyrighted material?

I mean the obvious answer is that they're commies, but why? My feed is so dead now

I noticed that the subscriber number is actually separate depending on what site you're on. Thought that was neat, but I do wish everyone could see total subscribers. Obviously a thing for lemmy to deal with rather than here specifcally but just wanted to share.

https://lemmynsfw.com/c/[email protected] - 17 subscribers

https://burggit.moe/c/cunny - 111 subscribers

Guess they can't resist not shitting out their garbage, outright vile, hostile political ideology and ram it down people's throats.

thought I'd post it here as well for visibility
