In my experience, just consuming more media is a good way to become more familiar with the facial features that we might not pay enough attention to differentiate between people. When I first started watching Japanese movies, I had a bit of a hard time grasping who was who, but as time went on it became easier.

Lovely this happened because someone complained after being banned from the piracy instance for being a transphobic asshole.

I also recommend reading "Is Gender Necessary? Redux", an essay by Ursula that deals with her relationship to feminist critiques to The Left Hand of Darkness (for example, using male pronouns to signify genderlessness) and how her opinion of those critiques changed throughout the years. It's one of my favorite pieces of writing by her.

It's not just bitrate but how good the retail encode of a Blu-ray is. There are certain movies where a smaller bit-rated Blu-ray is actually the best option. Private trackers are filled with comparisons between all the available Blu-rays to figure out of which one is the best in terms of video/audio quality. Buying a Blu-ray may still not get you the best quality.

From what I read, it looks like they were hosting off-site, but had an unencrypted backup of the database locally at the time of the raid.

This looks really cool. Would you be open to selling a fully functional unit?

Looking at my reddit profile, I have talked about where content could be found, what are the recommended VPNs for P2P, what seedbox providers are trustworthy, and discussed software solutions for piracy. Would that count as "facilitating distribution"? (which sounds a bit ambiguous).

Would me posting about piracy in a different instance (an illegal activity in most jurisdictions) constitute a violation of the "illegal content" policy?
