Right, but that is all physiologically optional. None of it is physiologically optional for the mother. Childbirth is so painful that many women going through it prefer a giant needle in their spine that induces what is essentially temporary paralysis to actually feeling it. They've deserve a hell of a lot more than a little tax incentive, it's really the absolute least we could possibly be doing for them.
