Ranked can simply be for fun for lots of people.
I enjoy playing against people with about the same skill level.
On casual/for fun I either get owned or I'm owning.

This game is what got me on Stadia. Ironically Stadia was the best version of the game when it launched. It was a buggy/glitching mess on every platform except on Stadia.
I highly enjoyed the game. But since I'm someone who can really enjoy a game only once I will not rebuy the game on another platform. Good to see the game is still getting pushed to be better.
Depending on what kind of content I'm more for keeping information available for the public.
If it's just nudes.. meh, lots of other places to find those.
But advertising towards Lemmy is a good thing though.
Game just cuts when the climax is almost happening.

I have multiple..
- Like many others, backwards compatibility
- and while we're at it. Make games upgradable like PS4 to PS5
- System level voice chat. Not depending on the game or smartphone app
- better friend system
- Focus on 1080p 60fps performance, games less than that are simply not allowed. When possible a ingame toggle to quality mode that gives 4K 30fps at minimum.
- cloud save backup on ALL games.
- controller with audio through aux or usb-c
- try less to be different, try more to be better
- actual functioning invite to game option for friends
This is all I can think of right now.
I honestly do not need a different new system. I just want something better than the current Switch in terms of performance.
Fun fact. You could talk to Pikachu when in the cave and he would burst some electricity for a short period so you could see the map for a little bit. Can make navigation a bit easier but still tedious.

Likely the latter. RiF probably uses the free x amount of uses of the API while logged in users are directly seen as "premium" API users.
But other than lurking and manually searching the subs I see no reason to keep using RiF and generate traffic to them.
I hope Lemmy keeps growing but currently it's a sheer difference in content between here and Reddit.

I do think it's time though. The Switch has a very good run but it's showing its age. Time for a much better version to keep up with the new stuff
I hope this stuff will follow through worldwide because when looking at Belgium some devs simply decide to not release their games anymore.
I'm all for banning loot boxes but we are a small country and easy to simply not release a game.
If US has a ban, then I'm sure devs will change stuff around
I used to have a mix of In The Groove 1 and 2 on my PC. I used to had an Arcade hall locally that had the machine and that way I could play the same game at home.
