I hope Baudelaire orphans are still recognizable, despite it being a mishmash of various canonical designs and also some of my ideas

I've been drawing for about a year and I seem to be improving

I'm not very good at art yet, only learning for a year, and only doing digital art for about a month. But "Pomni in a basin" is a russian meme that my friends (and my partner specifically) liked a lot, so I wanted to draw it

Yep! Evoker, she laughs maniacally when flinging fireballs. Just in general has really flashy personality, while also having more caring protective side

I just got recommended to roleplay character similar to myself for my first campaign ๐Ÿ˜…

She started cheating at cards to pay for magic academy - and then was expelled from magic academy for gambling

Meanwhile I'm learning to work with shadows and color

Open world is severely overrated

"Don't tread on me" for them always refers exclusively to the oppression from the federal government - especially towards state government, and not specifically people. Oppression from state government might as well not exist for them

I'm just learning to draw, practicing what I can, and I seem to find my style already

It's mentioned further, this country is Russia, and I'm still stuck in here

[โ€“] [email protected] 3 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Because of how the system is set up, if people don't vote specifically for dems, republicans win, and then start doing all sorts of nasty sruff

Once I can get citizenship in another country, I'm gonna publically burn my russian passport - but not earlier

[โ€“] [email protected] 3 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I'm asking again, why do you think your theory is more correct than current scientific consensus? Convince me as if I am an investor

[โ€“] [email protected] 7 points 2 years ago (3 children)

While it happens, there's absolutely zero guarantee you're one of those who are correct without research

[โ€“] [email protected] 7 points 2 years ago (5 children)

If you don't have research backing you, why are you so confident? Just because you feel like it?

[โ€“] [email protected] 6 points 2 years ago (7 children)

Where then? I mean, you seem to be more confident in yourself than most biologists, so you sure know more than them and can prove why humans belong to a different category?

This godforsaken country is introducing the bill that allows to strip people of birth-given russian citizenship for some things - like desertion and discreditation of army (which happens every time you question war)

So, my question, if someone loses all citizenship, what happens next? Is their life basically over? Is there a way to re-gain citizenship (like, in another country)? Can they be deported?

I mean, where do you put humans as a species then

Btw, bigotry does not need to be conscious or intentional or malicious to be real and cause harm, and you can be transphobic even when you're not trying to or believe you're are not

I don't really understand why people do it. Not like "they're doing it because they are depressed and feel bad", I had depression myself but never had a call to injure myself. I hate pain, and doing something painful to myself while I'm already feeling bad doesn't really sound appealing. So I don't quite get what self-harm gives people so they keep doing it.

Like, is it a way to "ground" yourself and stop dissociating, or is it "just to feel anything at all", or as a "punishment", or something else?
