Look into cluster b personality disorders and cptsd. This behavior sounds like "splitting."
I'm not a mental health professional, but lived with someone who was later diagnosed CPTSD, so I ended up doing a bunch of homework on wtf was going on.

I was fine using battle net. I was not fine with Overwatch turning into a shitty p2w cash grab.
I suspect it has to do with legal compliance. Only available in US = only needing to comply with US law.
I have zero interest in the micro-transaction VTT that WoTC seems to be moving towards. If they quit supporting pencil & paper tables, we'll stick with 5e/pf2e
I imagine they'll make giant fistfuls of money though. Lowing the bar to play by having the server deal with the crunch, gee-whiz graphics, customizable avatars .. I suspect they'll onboard a bunch of Fortnite kids who are used to paying for skins.
Get off my lawn. We used to play D&D uphill.
Can't buy callouses.
I know my personal experience isn't statistical proof of anything, but I've known a couple of people who started using meth, then their life fell apart. I don't know anyone whose life fell apart first and started using meth later.
"Only" a third on meth? Jfc that's high.
There are a lot of reasons people end up homeless. One specific drug being involved in a third of cases is huge.
We believe that the state usurps the natural safety and freedom of individuals and communities to impose its own order.
I'd argue that "natural safety" is pretty dangerous, and safety is the main argument in favor of ceding freedom to the state.
Nice writeup btw.
Afaik Lemmy is a protocol used by a bunch of servers; lemmy.world, shitjustworks, lemmy.ml, etc. They're all (well, mostly) connected to each other, and each hosts various communities that any member can access. You can access it all through kbin, though kbin is different from lemmy. For example, this community is on lemmy.world, and you posted it here from kbin. I saw it and responded from kbin.
"All" gives you all the content your home server has access to.
I hope that's helpful. I'm still learning myself.
The mods for r/guitar were (are?) pretty bad. The guys at r/guitarcirclejerk made a sport of seeing how stupid a post they could post on r/guitar without getting banned. Of course, actual noobs with stupid noob questions sometimes ended up getting banned for trolling, so they'd end up at r/guitars asking wtf.
It was kinda funny, kinda tragic. Dunno if it's still there.
I used to hate the modem noise. Then, over time, like Pavlov's dogs, I began to love the modem noise. I actually missed it when we got DSL.
Did they fix the thing where, after combat, my Flaming Sphere runs up to me like a puppy and accidently sets the whole party on fire before I can dismiss it?
::Looks ar patch notes::
Dammit. Maybe next patch
