Pretty much every northern European country has had it since the 80s. Nowadays we melt it into new packaging though, supposedly it requires even less energy. And you get money for turning them in :)

Many people still drive older cars due to costs and environmental factors, meanwhile there's no real reason to use an old version of a word processing software unless you really want to due to nostalgic reasons. And automatic braking doesn't even exist on every new car...

I bought a chromecast with google TV specifically for this purpose, with it you can download "SmartTube" and watch youtube completely ad-free

More people should know there actually are adapters for different brands of batteries on amazon, and thingiverse if you have a 3D printer
