That story reminded me of an ex that was click training me. I didn't realize it until her mother heard the clicks and asked them all upset about it.
Honestly I think the meat alternatives are pretty terrible compromises to the real thing. We should be cooking to enhance the veggies flavor instead of trying to force them to be meat.

It's also cleverly putting the idea in their head that you smell good.
