Gives me the same vibes as the wreckfest early access, hopefully they can deliver on their vision this time.

Are there any umatrix alternatives?

I don't see him starting a war without complete control of the military. While they are working on it, firing leadership, changing rules and policies, the military still has the power to say no to Trump, which is bad TV. Trump is also a bitch as seen by the wishy-washy way he approaches tariffs, he hates actual action because he just wants good TV and bad policy makes for bad TV.

The switch is more or less the same when docked, only additional feature is you get to use a higher resolution.

My theory is they have determined you to be a good human, so they want you to do more work for them. The more you "fail" the more work they get out of you.

FOSS stuff like lemmy and mastodon will never get past the first step, which is fine. they will just occupy a separate niche.

I wouldn't say never, but fedverse projects will need to find ways to smooth off the rough edges. Also the more enshittifcation happens the more I think people will be willing and able to get past the rough edges. If any one of the services breaks through and becomes mainstream, it'll provide a roadmap to success for other services and people will be more comfortable with the concepts.

Good job refiners. If you can make the quarterly quota we can have a waffle party.

I don't think everybody knows that and at least here on Lemmy, it doesn't show it by default like friendica. The fediverse doesn't necessarily mean that all data has to be public. It's just that it's way harder to have a sense of truth without public data.

That looks comical how tall the screen is. It's a shame they can't figure out how to do that but widescreen.

I like this one better, doesn't sponsor a shitty corporation and has the extra layer of eating his own leg.

I've tried luanti several times and I'm trying to dial in the graphics settings for best performance with the lack of in game settings menu was always a such a pain I'd give up. I'm super excited about his change.
