Well, China is spending money to expand itself. You're right about Nato though, they just want the US to do it all for them and then be the scapegoats too

They are experiencing record heatwaves so it might be getting their attention. Their population is huge so if they become uncomfortable it's a powerful force for change

It's not that scary. It's not bending or anything, it's just the larger bone swinging around the smaller stationary one. Joints pivot and move

So we should push for Ukraine to be added to Nato and end the conflict all together. That'll appease everyone right?

Defending yourself is escalating the situation? What's the alternative you are looking for that Russia will accept?

Exactly. Business leaders at the time had cried that their companies and the strength of the US as a whole would fall without the manpower of slavery. Then the exact opposite happened, and industrial creativity and efficiency exploded. Rich men always seem to get it wrong

No doubt power consolidated more power and are at fault for the problems in the world. But other countries follow suit and few separate themselves from the pack. The majority of people around the world are apathetic at best and only interested in their direct social/family circle and that's the biggest hurdle for global unity

Ending world hunger is tackling corruption in chaotic places in the world. Not an easy feat. Just look at how fast the taliban took over when the US pulled out, or how corporations (capitalist and communist alike) buy from slave labor states

Definitely strive for it, but pointing at economic differences is circle jerking
