I mean they value money...

and apparently they are smart enough to realize that Diversity helps with money, Which makes sense... they are a machine designed to extract money from people...

rich white billionares do not fill up theatres or make a substantial percentage of disney+ and Hulu subscriptions... a group of people that know how to target different demographics will obviously outperform one that targets the hell out of maga fans but doesn't know how to talk to the other 70% of the country.

Shouldn't it also point out, say... everything else in that gap.

IE, Cancer/Aids research, Disease prevention. millions of federal jobs etc...

While it's still obviously corrupt as fuck... it wouldn't really effect the average american that much if he only gutted things that hurt him directly (I mean still obviously causes problems when he kills the CFPB, OSHA etc...), but obviously all the USAID projects etc... those wouldn't effect him in any way shape or form, but he's still after them.

Reminds me back of in 2008, when thinkgeek was good. On april fools they released the "shrinter", that prints and shreds at the same time.

Isekai genre is kind of getting stupid bloated, and sadly an overwhelming portion of it is what's come to be known as "power fantasy", in which the main character, is intentionally made with as little personality as possible, because the writers believe that allows people to mentally "self insert" themselves as the MC.

Which I have to say, most people are considering the genre pretty tired, to the point where many of them are starting with paordies of the genre.

I mean, in honesty it might not be the best to use an adblocker for it. Honestly we need like the opposite... an ad mass player or something. does something like that exist (IE something to try and hit the ad budgets of the guys).

Well if there's one place we seriously need to overthrow the horrid "opposition" it's this. Why the hell is a guy who resigned in disgrace even getting ANY support right now.

Hell I wouldn't even say that... they don't understand it, they don't care to understand it, they don't know or care what federated means. They went there because, it's not currently nazified twitter.

I get that it's "technically" federated... but practically it's for all practical purposes just a proprietary program, run by a group that isn't currently horrific. Unfortunately everything I see in it says, it's every bit as vulnerable, and it can be good for as long as the owners care about not becoming a nazi propoganda machine. Actual recourse from it going evil... is non existant.

I mean it's ICC... so US supreme court has no jurisdiction over their decisions. ICC has an arrest warrent on Netanyahu and his defence minister Yoav Gallant, if the US could veto it they would.

Of course, they also don't exactly have power anywhere either. Hence the warrant for Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant haven't exactly bothered them in the least.

Kind of the conservative way...

Chemical plant explodes: Cut more regulations on safety

Abnormally dry and dangerous: Cut fire department

Repeat teen pregnancies: Less sex education.

Disease kills millions: Less doctors, less vaccines.

Sometimes I feel texas thinks there in a scenerio like the episode of parks and rec, when out of desperation to get out of an emergency scenerio drill, they opted to just fail it on purpose as fast as they could. Bird flu is killing millions. OK our priority is save the birds, instruct everyone to perform CPR on any fallen birds.

Well yeah it's still at best a cat and mouse game. Really I suppose the biggest red flag a system could detect is most likely sending out multiple DMs on an account with little other activity.

can't really ballpark but I'm guessing the bot must hit several hundred if not thousands of us in rapid succession on creation (otherwise it would be a lot slower and only a few of us would have seen it).

That being said, auto detecting the links, contact information etc... would be pretty direct as well, as that would require every banned iteration to also remake whatever methods it tries to phish etc.. as well.

Are we becoming the catholic church or some shit...

Dem's "we ousted a bad democrat for extreme sexual misconduct"

Voters: "Yay, so... we aren't going to use him again right?"

Dem's: "Oh no we're going to shuffle him to go against the most corrupt person we can find to run against, that way he can't lose".

(He can lose).

I'm assuming the issue is the new nicole has already been banned by the time you are responding to it, thus there's nothing new to report.

Far as solutions, only ones I can imagine are I guess to allow instance owners to auto block and ban messages featuring certain words/sentences, and maybe auto delete messages from already banned users, in terms of technical solutions to getting ahead of the whack a mole game.

Hey everyone.

I have my homeassistant setup. Something I'm looking to do is a simple alarm clock, slowly turning up my LED strip, and gradually say turning on music in 1% increments. But I really haven't had much luck coming up with a not silly $100 + system to, just have a music player that hass can control. I have a basic bottom line tablet in our bedroom set up as a home assistant dashboard. we have a paid spotify account.

But I'm kind of losing my head trying to wrap around exactly what or how to actually get a controllable system. that can be set up in my bedroom without any costly additions to my bedroom. We have plenty of bluetooth speakers, but to my knowledge all of them require actually turning them on manually if they weren't playing music before. Which kind of negates their value for an alarm clock.
