To add, it’s a CEO with a lot less power than a normal CEO because of the Porton Foundation that’s above it. Some countries (like Swiss) also have more rules and regulations in place to keep people to help consumers

He didn’t even endorse Trump, he agreed with one statement. (And doubled down on that and is really an idiot)

There are a lot of people misquoting the made comments from Proton. They are just really stupid for making comments like this.

If you use their services, use it with your own domain

The main issue with Excel is that it is not multithreading in all operations. But for a lot of things it is the only software that can fit the bill.

Libre office feels a lot worse in to work in up to 8 hours a day compared to Excel and it is probably still missing some features like powerquery among others. I do need to test it again, it has been a while.

Then again I work as accountant so I am probably in minority of Excel users.

According to the CEO in the LTT video about this thing it was a design choice made by AMD because otherwise they cannot get the ram speed they advertise.

What legislation would do that? Would they want access to your messages or something?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 months ago

Been there done that

And the worst part is? My job description doesn’t even include phone support. I am just the guy who is handy with computers! (I do get compensation for it, don’t you worry)

In The Nederlands people bike to school, which can be a bike ride of more than an hour away.

A raincote is not enough, but a rainsuit will do the job.

My issue with biking to work is the sweat …

Most countries already have a budget deficit or at least they generally will when they start increasing the social security budget. So when the US starts to really fund a social security system taxes will increase. If you calculate the marginal tax income (so tax paid + the missed social security others get) it means that a lot will see a tax increase as well.

Unless every country agrees with that we won’t see that happening.

Plus appraising privately owned companies is a pretty hard thing to do and it’s unrealistic to do every year.

Just have a progressively increasing tax system and make it so the system doesn’t allow you to take personal loans with stock as collateral. The entire US is so loan based and built so people consume as much as possible. Everybody who choses to use a creditcard when a normal bankcard could have worked is increasing this issue.

Generally companies use service contracts to keep those things working so mo they wouldn’t be replaced often. They are just a piece of shit
