I have had much better luck using a cup to trap them. Seems to me that they aren't as likely to fly away when I approach slowly with a cup to trap them inside the cup, then slide a piece of paper or cardboard across the opening and release them outside. Of course only works when they land on a flat surface like a window.
I've been on Pandora for a long time now and, as someone above said, I enjoy the "radio" aspect of it to discover new music.
That, and isn't Joe Rogan on the Spotify payroll?
Doesn't answer your question directly but those short lint fibers can be pushed into a toilet paper roll and made into firestarters that work at the campsite
