one nice tip i can give you is that if you want posters, print them!! it's easy if you find the pictures online.

that's what i did basically and it's very very cheap too so, i did not spend like.. a thousand dollars on posters, probably 10 dollars or less on all the printed stuff

i browse e926 but i checked on e621 and yea.. it was still there.. thank you!! i don't mind or care if people share my art but having it be between a lot of.... extreme art is kind of uncomfortable

true, thank you

please hear me out fediverse!! this new service of the fediverse could be called "kniknak" and it could be similar to tiktok in the sense that it shows you short videos and comments and etc, but the main differences are the following: 1. connected threads of the whole fediverse, even regular posts on mastodon could become a short video 2. open source, decentralized, of course 3. comments are shown as threads instead of a regular comment section since it's connected to the fediverse. also i can remake the logo on inkscape and it would look even better, that'd be so awesome

usually when it comes to graphic design work (i'm an open source graphic designer and mayhaps even programmer but) i use inkscape of course, and gimp totally. i've gotten very good and learned so many stuff, but something i enjoy about inkscape and gimp is the fact that they still use ctrl-z for undoing and ctrl-y for doing again!!! that's classic and very linux-like and is pretty much the software saying "we will NOT accommodate our keyboard shortcuts to make our software feel LIKE adobe products", because adobe and all proprietary graphic design software uses ctrl-z and ctrl-shit-z for undoing and doing, but linux prevails and keeps ctrl-y.

when i was drawing a bit of stuff in krita, i found out that the shortcut for undoing was ctrl-shift-z, i know why this was made, because they want to accommodate the adobe people, the ones that like windows and proprietary software, they want to appeal to proprietary companies, that shortcut showed me that. and that is why i feel like krita is trying to be an open source software dressed as a proprietary software.

it's like when that american german spy asked for 3 glasses of liquid but held his fingers in the "not german" way.

of course this was made using gimp and inkscape!!

funny memeeee

weee ooh i look just like buddy hollyyyy

what do you think?? these pins were bought in conventions sometimes i go to with my friends and that's cool. (also i don't watch bluey but the characters are nicely drawn and i like that sure!!)

like not doing anything, just a spare laptop in case i ever need one, what if i use it years after i installed debian on it?? i would have to update like 300 packages and would take a lot??

yes, not a unix os but rather unix-like, and i want to program all of it on python, is that possible?? even the kernel, i want it all python. i know most kernels use c++ or c* but maybe python has a library to turn c* into python?? i'm still sort of a beginner but thanks and i would appreciate the answers

i don't want to bring the big forum website that lead to the creation of lemmy (red**t), but that site lets you create posts for your own profile, like, it treats your own user wall as if it was a "subreddit" of its own and, if you don't have any followers or don't have the followers button enabled not a lot of people will see your post, but at least you can just sort of use it for posting interesting or casual stuff. lemmy should totally implement that please!!! can you do that on lemmy?? i tried but there's not a way you can do it, i've been trying so if you know a way of creating posts on your profile, please let me know thank you

edit: there were a few grammar mistakes,i'm sorry!!!

i drew this after a few days of browsing and posting on reddit and lemmy. (made in krita and edited using gimp)

microblogging is something used on a much more personal level while i think forum style social media is mostly for looking for answers and posting things you do, but microblogging social media sites are for that too. also, this is not meant to be offensive, but i think that since mastodon has been in the works for like a long time, it looks more polished than modern websites, so that can be an advantage it has

so this happened to me yesterday, i was hanging out with a few of my relatives and we were doing a lot of stuff and we were having fun but i realized that when my relatives talk to each other they talk like proper adults because well, they are, like, they can swear and stuff, but when i talk to them they are like "yea buddy sure!!" or talk to me like as if i was some sort of young person, and even my friends do that same thing, all of them!!!! it feels like i'm not part of anyone's conversation which sucks but well it's fine!!!
