- Lol, they didn't even remove the watermark.
- Why throw Tom Hanks under the bus?
That's just the prediction on if the election were held today. I don't think the trend is showing any signs of stopping here. A couple weeks ago this same prediction gave the Cons an 80% chance at a majority. And even that was seen as a massive decline for them.
To what end? All that will do is increase volatility, discourage investment and tank the stock market.
Uh, I'd prefer if our militaries remained on friendly terms myself. Even if our politicians don't.
Yeah, similar to Slack or Discord
Big tent parties are still fractured, it's just that all the arguing happens behind the scenes out of the public eye. With PR you could actually vote on the issues that were most important, and then watch the debates play out in public.
Besides, you aren't dreaming big enough. Imagine if politicians actually cooperated rather than tearing each other down.
If you aren't using both Reddit and Lemmy, then you clearly aren't the target audience
Yeah, it does. But I think the intent of "Magastan" is to draw a comparison to "those countries". But this is stooping down to Trump's level imo
Don't sully the "-stan" countries like that, they don't deserve that association.
You can always do that manually when creating the post
True, but you won't. You'll click the button that automatically populates it instead.
I do think AI could enforce having a quick summary at a glance... if it was reliably accurate. But again, why do that and prevent traffic from going to the people who did all the work
Yeah, that's why I don't like the summary idea, because then even fewer people would click through. It also requires opening the comments which also most people won't do.
I guess fewer people click through with less sensational headlines too, but at least they're not mislead.
They'll regret not staying longer after catching up with current events.
