Joking about those things does not make him any better or worse, it's comedy. Ending that behavior is not an opportunity to be better.
I think that's obtuse, comedy has no limits: As long as you don't act upon uncomfortable / morally reprehensible ideas you joke about, you aren't any worse or better than if you had never joked about it. I would argue that exposing a bunch of people for what they joke about with no evidence that they've actually done something wrong is far worse than joking about offensive subjects. (one has zero negative affects, the other has many)
(I must say I disagree completely with that guy sharing messages from his girlfriend- that piece is very weird and a total breach of trust)
Ah, I really hope so!
Not quite, he requires the cooperation of the Supreme Court; as far as I understand Hitler's declaration of emergency power didn't rely on any other group approving it.
"Persecution of whites"...
Fucking idiots, if you voted for Trump you need to take a walk and see the real world.
I cannot fathom how some people are so bothered by what others choose to do. It has ZERO effect on their life. If someone else being LGBTQ+ negatively effects your relationship with God, you are the weakest Christian of all time. (And I'd imagine would go to hell)
Tbf, his unconstitutional executive orders will not stand. The constitution is being enforced, a Reagan-Era judge just shot down the one on birthright citizenship without a second thought. Even if he tries to pull a Hitler, I have faith that he will fail, and he will not pass an amendment to make any of this possible.
What scares me isn't some kind of emergency power grab, it's the Supreme Court. If they look at one of his unconstitutional orders and say "Eh, fuck all prior case law and decisions by this very court, you're good." that is an unprecedented misuse of power and would undermine the entire point of the constitution.
They didn't pre-1846 💀
? I don't understand your thinking:
American Football is the most popular sport in the U.S. -> Higher round picks are better than lower round picks because you have more / inherently better options -> Picks are used as bargaining chips / used in trades -> Watching who your team picks (and how good they are / what position) is extremely entertaining for fans AND can often define your teams future for years afterwards
...obviously?
