Not trying to call you out or anything, just my googlefu couldn't find anything about any government jobs that did this. All I found was companies and other countries that were trying it out.

I feel like it would be big news if that was an option for people seeking employment anywhere.

Which jobs give you four day weeks as of now?

I posted a lot on my .world account in a community and when I switched to .dbzer0 nothing showed up on the said community before my new account existed. This is months if not a year ago. Thought it was a larger lemmy issue, might still be ongoing.

I still think this is the biggest issue with lemmy right now. There should be a way for communities that are identical across instances that can connect where a post would be cross posted and connected with links to each instance it's connected with.

The article mentions "Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment". https://www.alliance4creativity.com/

Looks like a group that takes down piracy websites.

I assume MPA refers to "The Motion Picture Association". They keep changing their name: "The MPA, originally called the Motion Picture Producers and Distributors of America (MPPDA) and later the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA)", then abbreviated to MPA.

Just clarifying the abbreviations since it isn't really explained/articulated in the article.

What's up with these crazy links in the summary lately? I'm not clicking them but they look rather spammy

A bit misleading but yes, 1000km is what they are talking about. Also the article doesn't address scalability.

Voyager is very similar to RIF. I'd recommend it highly.

"Today, the American military is for example using missile defense systems invented in Israel, from the Iron Dome to Trophy." I just looked this up and it seems you are right, they created the system of defense but also had over 2 Billion in investment for the system. Would that defense exist without the support given? It's a complicated issue but the brutal response doesn't seem appropriate.

Very cool! Keep up the hard work, we appreciate it!

Deep rock galactic looks like a fun game. I have several friends who play it but haven't had the opportunity to pick it up yet.
