Really nice shave today, although I seemingly missing the right side of my face. Oh well. Real story of this shave is the new brush. It arrived yesterday, and this was the first time I used it. It is super dense, so it has a strong backbone, while still being nice and soft. It whipped up lather in no time flat. Very impressed in my first go with it, especially since it is different than my other knots. I have an Independent Synthetic Fibre Knot (UHD) on the way, so I'm curious as to how it will compare to the AK47 knot.

Did 2 passes on my face and 3 + cleanup on my neck. Didn't do a straight ATG pass (just went south to north) and it turned out good. Not quite as smooth, but very close with less fuss. Still not completely sold on Nacet blades, though, which is a shame.

Due to the Spearhead sale, I will not be using another soap until I kill this tub so that my purchase of another SIL tub can be justified.

Threw in my last BiC in the Legacy today to see if I should grab more. I think I will. Nice and smooth shave today with any issue. I think the Wizamet are better, but it is nice to have options. Elysian Pineapple Ambrosia is quickly turning into one of my personal favorites, so I'm going to have to pick up other Elysian products as a result.

I threw a Perma-Sharp in it this morning, and it was great! I'll try it with a fresh wizamet after this one.

That's what everyone says! What's your favorite blade for the razor? Need to give a fresh wizamet a try in it, but I'm going to throw a Perma-Sharp in it next.

Got a CF Legacy in the mail yesterday from the Zaar, so of course I had to christen it with CF Banana. I'm very impressed with the razor. Probably should've used a fresh blade, but even still it was fantastic. I can see it turning into one of my favorites. Did a 3 pass shave with some cleanup which resulted in a DFS with no irritation (though I did stupidly nick a mole).

As a bonus, I used SW Boonana frag. Just felt right.

Too bad about your feeling in the Capless pens. I have 3 myself and love all of them (my favorite is my red wood one). They're not the everyone, but if be very upset if they were to vanish.
