My 401k today is $520 less than what it was Jan 21st. I put in almost $600 every 2 weeks.
That's a good chunk of change that just disappeared. I can only imagine how much someone with a bigger retirement account than I have is hurting.

I run an older half depth supermicro server with a sfp+ PCI card for my router. At this point, it feels like dedicated boxes just aren't worth it for routers except for enterprise where I need a support contract.
That's not entirely true. Having a router with multiple interfaces is useful for multiple physical networks like VoIP, OOB, dmz, etc. We use vlans a lot for that now, but it's not fair to say only two ports is the only choice.

The health insurance industry sole obligation is to make money and that is directly in opposition to their product, which is to pay for healthcare.

It is the obligation of every university to refuse to cooperate beyond the minimum amount required by law. No one in the administration is working in good faith. Make them require the judicial branch.
