as an asexual person i find other people's opinions on this interesting. the sex scenes do nothing for me and i'm usually just waiting for them to end but i understand my circumstances are not common. i can only assume that someone who is into sex gets something out of sex scenes, otherwise they wouldn't exist.

what i don't understand is the demonizing of sex scenes in movies. like does everyone only watch movies with their parents/kids? i don't like sex scenes due to my asexuality and i'm glad that there are few of them because this cultural shift benefits me specifically (who has never been in the target demographic) in a roundabout way. but i wouldn't say they are all gross/unnecessary/graphic/etc as a blanket statement like i see people in this thread and other places online say. art doesn't need to be for everyone.

i love this show, and it might be my favorite anime i've ever caught airing live. i can just tell that this is going to be incredible throughout. it has great production all around, the characters are really engaging, and the subject matter / setting is incredibly interesting. i just saw the third episode and i'm extremely excited for the next! this show should be at the top of everyone's list this season.

typically when i like something this much i'll just start on the manga, but the craftsmanship on display in the anime is making me want to stick through it despite the wait.

i like them and the texture doesn't bother me at all. i made them using some leftover yarn i had sitting, if i were to do a little more planning i might pick a different yarn since these are pretty fuzzy lol.

honestly i would probably prefer to not use any arm covers and stick with the original material on the chair, but it is far more comfortable than this:

the reason people say neofetch is useless is because the information it gives you is not very detailed when compared to something like inxi for example

i hear you - i've basically learned to avoid any topic or activity related to food with other people irl, which really sucks.

cooking is one of my favorite hobbies, can't talk to my friends about it anymore. hell, a close friend from high school completely stopped talking to me because we had literally one very reasonable and civil (from my perspective) debate about veganism. it's been years since i heard from them.

i got a single one of my close friends to even consider trying it, and i've been too anxious to even bring it up since last we spoke about it - a couple years ago now. they didn't seem to believe in the ethics/lifestyle of it and i'm terrified of learning that this person i care so much about has decided that their sensory pleasure is worth more than the lives of the animals they eat.

my experiences with speaking about veganism to the people that i care about is that it is a taboo subject; one that will make other people upset with me and potentially ruin relationships. and i think that fucking sucks.

yeah the hardest part of being vegan is interacting with non vegans. gotta love how the default response to veganism (you know that thing we do to try to better the planet and animal rights and shit) is to argue as if doing something about the issues you care about is a negative trait.

mfs always got something to say and love attacking a thing that as far as i'm aware is proven to be better for personal health, the environment, your wallet, and animals.

yeah fast and furious is basically anime and i love it for that
