Nice watch. The super rich like fElon are seemingly not paying with their stocks as claimed in the video but with loans they get from banks for very good conditions using their stock as guarantees. So when the stock price drops it might be worth less than the loan being granted. In that case the bank can demand the sum immediately causing the whole card house to collapse.

It's being described here (German).

If he doesn't already Bernie needs to build up a successor. Because let's be real: He is reaching an age where every day might be the last and the gap he will leave would be dramatic.

Logging in works with your tip (--cookies-from-browser [browser]:[profile] for anyone interested but I get a 403 error, sigh... Apparently all that remains is waiting for an update fixing the problem.

Unfortunately it's not working right now because yt-dlp fails to login. But great thanks anyway!

I'm trying now for quite some time but didn't find a solution. Any tips welcome!

WeChat is like the absolute dystopian nightmare. If you are for whatever reason excluded from this service you are basically fucked in Chinese Society.

How can Musk, a mere consultant to the government, fire anyone?

Koß: Das müsste man diskutieren.

"If the purges [of potential voters], challenges and ballot rejections were random, it wouldn’t matter. It’s anything but random. For example, an audit by the State of Washington found that a Black voter was 400% more likely than a white voter to have their mail-in ballot rejected. Rejection of Black in-person votes, according to a US Civil Rights Commission study in Florida, ran 14.3% or one in seven ballots cast."

"[...] Democracy can win* despite the 2.3% suppression headwind.

And that’s our job as Americans: to end the purges, the vigilante challenges, the ballot rejections and the attitude that this is all somehow OK."
