I’m fine with people smashing their nuts in a cash register. Whatever keeps them from reproducing.

Why not both?

If you drink that entire glass of Everclear, then no one is hearing you tonight… or ever again for that matter.

Maybe I misunderstood what she said, but my take is that they each got a day to themselves; one-on-one. The rest of the time was for everybody like a normal day.

Apple seeds contain cyanide, and are easy to get in quantity without raising suspicion. How long does it take? No idea.

I have TRD, and right now the only thing that’s been working is using CBD gummies in conjunction with my antidepressants and talk therapy.

This isn’t exactly a new trend. Instacart has been offering this for groceries, which is just as bad.

There is a guy named Jefferson Fisher on Instagram (I know, Meta bad, but hear me out first) who is a lawyer who also doubles as a teacher on how to handle various stressful conversations. If you’re into this sort of thing, he also has his own podcast.

Hate to say it, but good. We need to hit the tipping point and soon.

Fun fact: he named all five of his sons George Edward Foreman.

I tell people, 'If you're going to get hit as many times as I've been hit by Mohammad Ali, Joe Frazier, Ken Norton, Evander Holyfield, you're not going to remember many names.’

🤣

RIP man. You’ve earned it.

Edit: one more quote ❤️

"He has 10 kids, but growing up he made sure that we all had our special time," Georgetta told CBN of her dad. "There was even a time when we all had our own days. There was a Georgetta day, or George the second day, or whatever. And he took that time out to make sure that that day you had whatever you wanted to eat, whatever you wanted to do and he took out time to get to know who we were and who we are now.”

Damn, that is awesome!

I’ve said it before, and now that I’ve watched it, I’ll say it again: this is a future cult classic. I’d even go as far as putting it up there with 12 Monkeys.

Similar to another commenter, I’m not usually a Patterson fan, but he nailed this role perfectly. Ruffalo too. His cringe factor was out of this world (pun intended).

Where I’m at, the temps flip-flop day to day, even hour to hour. In the morning it’s 35° outside, and by evening it’s 79°. I gave up keeping up with the temps and shut my unit off for the time being.

My question is why can’t HVAC units be programmed to say that if the outside temp reaches n° and the inside temp reaches m° cold, turn on the heat; conversely, if the outside temp rises to n° and the inside temp reaches m°, then turn on the AC?

My thermostat already knows the outside and inside temp, but I still have to manually switch it back and forth. I want a system that I can just set it and forget it all year round.

In S4E9, at 9’55”, Sisko is using it on various parts of his face. It almost looks like a shaver of some sort.

I just got back from DC (821 mile drive round trip) to show my support for our veterans.

There were a lot of great speakers with heartfelt messages for us to listen to and absorb. This was my first protest; hopefully not my last.

The organizers (Cliff Cash and Jessica Denson of Fourteenth Now!) did a great job putting this all together.

Thank you too all of our service members, past and present! Also thank you to everyone who showed up to support our service members!

Side note: As I mentioned, I’d never been to a protest before. I’m also a severe introvert who sucks at organizing himself, and I went alone. I almost backed down, especially when my youngest son said he was scared of me getting arrested. But it is for him and my other son that I went, because these things are super important!

Which came first?

A few minutes later I found it had fallen out. Guess I’ll be gluing it back in. But thought you all might appreciate it.

Why you should know: The ‘a’ vs ‘an’ conundrum is not about what letter actually begins the word, but instead about how the sound of the word starts.

For example, the ‘h’ in ‘hour’ is silent, so you would say ‘an hour’ and not ‘a hour’. A trickier example is Ukraine: because the ‘U’ is pronounced as ‘You’, and in this case the ‘y’ is a consonant, you would say “a Ukraine” and not “an Ukraine”.

Tip: when in doubt, sound it out(loud).

Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

PMI stands for Private Mortgage Insurance, and it is required on mortgages with a loan-to-value ratio greater than 80%. For example, if your home was worth $100k at the time of closing, and you owe more than $80k on the loan, you are required to have PMI.

I got my annual PMI disclosure tonight, and it says that if I’ve had my loan for at least two years, and have a good payment history for at least two years, I am eligible to cancel my PMI.

It’s not a lot, mind you. But I’d love to save the ~$70/mo it costs. That’s a fifth of vodka and a bag of CBD gummies, every month.

My oldest (M11) loves it, while my youngest (M9) couldn’t be more grossed out by it.

I am watching the series, and i can’t help but feel like both actors for Superman and Lois are CGI created. Maybe it’s me, or the lighting of the scenes, but I’m really feeling the uncanny valley with this show. Anybody else?
