He's too busy begging these three for help.

Indeed, we must be speaking of different kinds of meditation.

The one I was referring to is mindfulness meditation, by practicing which one gradually develops a habit of noticing thoughts as they happen in one's mind and instead of being immediately carried away by them, have a tiny time buffer that allows to have a chance to decide whether to react or just let it dissipate as all thoughts do.

https://meditofoundation.org/medito-app is not part of my morning routine as for the effects, results of meditation are never immediate or even obvious, just over time, if one persists, things get a little easier.

So it's just one step before the Ankh-Morpork mode with legalized crime guilds?

I was like "somebody likes lists more than me!" and in the last point, "ah, yes, just like me :)"

Civilian disobedience can take many forms, not all of them involve an active confrontation with the government or police.

Unfortunately, from what it looks like, all everyday russians are living their normal everyday lives.

Unfortunately this means that the majority of the population either supports the war (especially as long as they're winning) or are zombified enough not to care.

In either case, those are people that will be fine with being conscripted and sent to the front. As long as they're not getting hurt, themselves, of course.

By all means, I'm not advocating russian style of bombing obviously civilian targets, but those russians are far from poor and powerless.

They do nothing because it's uncomfortable.

I went for an ADHD evaluation and the doctor doing it said: "yeah, we should do autism next"

I'm on my eight's language and the sad realisation I had around the fourth is that I've seen people better communicating while speaking one and a half languages.

I guess I don't have any suggestions. Watch media in the language. At least you'll understand it better and maybe by parroting, somewhat improve the speaking. But without human feedback, it's hard to know if you're saying something wrong.

How do you know a ruzzian is lying? Sound is coming out if their mouth.

2.5 years to halve the reserves, the spend cannot be linear and I also don't think they need to get to zero to have a collapse.

... The economy is being funded by the cash reserves, which increases inflation, which leads to another round of interest rate hikes to combat inflation, which makes it harder to borrow money, which is necessary for economic growth. Eventually, the cash reserves will run out. It took 2.5 years to deplete half the Russian reserves. Russia withdrew $37 billion to cover deficits in December 2022. It withdrew $20 billion to cover deficits in December 2023. It only has $54 billion left.

In today's #vatniksoup I'll talk about Russian Nazis and introduce Russian neo-Nazi movements and paramilitary groups like Rusich and PMC Wagner. They're best-known for being funded by the Kremlin and being responsible for the "denazification" in Ukraine.

So basically, we're waiting for a (hopefully very soon) systemic collapse of moscovite army since they bet both their attack and defence on artillery

what's crazy is that Ukraine already neutralised (killed and wounded) 100% of what was the entire pre-war army of the moscovites (around 900K), 100% of non-reserve tanks and now getting close to 75% of artillery.
