There will always be flaws

You said it.

I have it behind a proxy and IPS. I force my users to have strong passwords. I don't see why this would be a problem.

Are you an LLM?

They are certainly manipulative (in the short term).

Buying back shares is Alphabet judging their own stock to be undervalued. Nobody knows whether that prediction is going to be correct or not. The "little guy" either does not care about this or joins the gamble.

What is your valuation of Alphabet?

I'm actually surprised to see this blog post coming from Discord. This was actually a good read.

You can't finance a massive project like that with donations. This isn't like Signal or some small project like that. Firefox is MASSIVE.

Breaking news. Learned something new today.

They are investing a lot in their core product. Problem is that you can't really monatize it. You want Firefox to be paywalled?

A desperate attempt of revenue diversification.

I have no idea how that happened or when it happened. Now every single album in my music collection has this background image of a random headphone and this "Various Artists" microphone picture on top.

How do I get rid of this?

Genuine question.

There are tons of niche subs on Reddit that aren't on Lemmy or don't have enough people posting. Lemmy could benefit from bots that automatically post Reddit content. Why is this not a thing?

With all that negativity being posted, I think this isn't said enough: Been getting into Ukrainian rap recently, specifically Alina Pash and Krechet. I don't understand a single word (I'm German) but I noticed how pleasing the language and music sounds. Just came here to say that.

If you have more music recommendations please share :)
