Why doesn't Greenland/Denmark disallow them from even having a base there anymore?

Nope. In fact, tidal isn't even available in my country. So I had to select which country to buy from, Argentina used to be cheapest but now they have payment processing issues so Thailand was my next choice. Only had to vpn the first time while making the account.

It's all AI and ML using predictive models for the most efficient route planning that caters to the maximum possible population with the least carbon footprint...just kidding, it's a guy in a basement somewhere flicking his boogers at a map and deciding if those spots are good enough for his boogers then they're bloody well good enough for bus stops

I use Tidal (buy it from a cheap country by vpn) and Apple Music because the wife wants Apple TV so the bump to get the bundle wasn't much. I prefer Tidal by a long shot, but use Apple Music when I need to play music that I don't want fucking up my Tidal algorithm.

There's no such thing as "normal". Every person, every culture, etc is different - you do you, and be happy. Having said that, from my point of view, these dont seem like exactly strangers, and you're probably a good person, and it could be their way of saying they want to be a better friend to you.

Hey everyone! I know you can block instances or maybe communities, not sure exactly how to do that but also is there a way to block topics or keywords as well? I don’t live in the US, and I find too many posts/comments are about US politics, trump, or capitalism. To each their own and I’m sure it’s relevant for many, but if there’s a way to stop seeing those it would make my Lemmy experience more enjoyable. Thanks for any help you could provide!
