Do you think an infant knows right from wrong? I don't... and I work my way out from there, looking for that same innocence in others. As to your friend or anyone else, I can't answer for people I don't personally know... even when I do know people, I still can't always answer for them.

Thanks. I'm not worried for myself in the common sense, and don't plan on complying... I'm more worried for others and how they'll cope with what I suspect is coming.
I get the very strong sense it's too late, that we've crossed some line or passed some tipping point... really hope I'm wrong.
That's more mildly infuriating than interesting.
The way I see it, the only truly innocent people are those who sincerely do not know right from wrong, and they're mostly children. The rest of us are each and all responsible for our choices and actions.
When I was younger, I would have argued till I was blue in the face. I've since learned to choose my battles and not waste my time and energy on battles I know I can't win... so I'd leave it alone as much as they allowed it, and eventually refuse to discuss it at all if needed.

I concur... I'm getting sick & tired of waiting for the other shoe to drop, just drop it already and let's get on with it.
