The fediverse is a complicated subject, even amongst those smart enough, or just clever enough, to find lemmy. Many users do think whatever instance they joined is the main one, still others believe .world or .ml as the "main" instance ruling over all others.

It's weird thinking of a service being this disparate, even if you try to use discord or other similar platform as an analogy, it still fails to acknowledge there is not central server or ruleset (beyond the software license itself).

Bluesky further fucked things up by claiming to be decentralized and federated, and then getting popular.

In short yes, many so think replying here means .world mods will ban their unrelated lemmy account from all of lemmy.

There's a reason most of us have .world instance blocked.

I'm sure there's some poor mod on there in a community that just unfortunately was started on there, but genuinely it's a better lemmy experience without.

Yes, they are the same. Advocating for more cops means you want innocent people to be murdered. But they're poor so they don't count I guess. Celebrating the West feeding the doomed Ukraine led war means you're happy when the poor die -- rich Ukrainian aren't dying, the ceos of Ukrainian industry aren't dying, they won't be affected.

The scale is different, but that's because there are fewer people with money and power.

Harris managed to lose to Donald Trump, when quite literally all she had to do was admit Biden was a failure for the common American and work towards differentiating herself from the Biden admin.

She is a worse candidate than Trump, hence how she lost to Trump.

Yes, Harris said multiple times that she would continue Biden's policies. It's one of the main reasons she lost, besides being one of the worst political candidates in US history. So in effect, Biden was running for reelection.

There's really no other answer as they have forgotten the lessons of their forebearers. When the working class can take no more they do not die, they kill. They don't mean to, they don't want to, they would rather slowly die than kill, but they kill all the same.

Employers used to be dragged out into the street along with their family and beat to death in front of their family if they failed to provide a fair deal to their employees; even as capital paid for protection in the military or police, that did nothing to stop the workers, as workers are not slaves and are not raised to understand themselves as such.

As capital once again ruins the good will that keeps it alive, this will just happen more and more. It takes one bad day to make a good person decide that suicide is not an adventure for a single person.

And you're not understanding the machine itself takes by far most of that carbon which is released at a later point when it is slaughtered, not sequestered. It is released and wasted, most of it removed from the local cycle unless you Aussies are to the point of spreading human feces and butchers waste back on to fields.

No animal is a carbon sink. Some plants are, not grasses, but some plants can be. Some fungi might be. Animals are not.

Sure. The cow is the flaw. It does not produce more carbon than it exhumes, due to entropy, but beyond that it itself is carbon based, therefore it inherently cannot sequester or aide in sequestering more carbon than it used to make itself.

Your math simply isn't.

There are more jobs than people, according to the government every month before retraction. So yes, yes they would, if companies are accurately reporting the lack of applicants.

Open source doesn't mean free by default.

So that's a lot of nonsense, with no sources whatsoever that explain how carbon is wholesale destroyed in your mythology. It's be amazing if the secret to the carbon cycle was a black hole that we can eat.
