Dental is expensive, and it can have devastating impacts on health if it isn't taken care of or is done wrong.

It's also very ambiguous as to what is dental and what is medical. For example, I got a severe case of TMJ disorder suddenly. Doctor wouldn't do anything because it's "dental" and my dental insurance didn't cover it because it was the jaw, not the teeth, and therefore "medical." These distinctions date back to medieval roles - they didn't make sense then, they certainly don't make sense now, and we built two entire industries off of the made up distinction.

And also, grateful isn't a term that should be demanded of citizens when their government still has work to do. Good changes don't mean that more changes aren't needed.

Which is why police should be abolished and replaced. We need SWAT and cops with guns sometimes, but we don't need those people to be the primary mechanism and the primary decision makers.

What we consider police should be a small subsection of the public safety force that a modern society needs. Give us traffic monitors, mental health counselors, etc.

They already are. They worship the death of their God, ignoring all the stuff he said to do while he was alive. They won't engage in any common sense gun control. They worship the military while they're engaged in killing people, and then they demand those people continue to sacrifice their lives by underfunding and cutting benefits at the VA. They force births, but only to feed the machine with those bodies - once the kids are born, they try to stop them from receiving any benefits like food, medicine, or education - in large part to force them into the military or prisons where they can be controlled and used up.

Just under 550 miles. Google maps clocks it at just under 8 hours, but we also stopped three times for gas, twice for food, and a few extra times for bathrooms. And I didn't really speed. The family member who lives up there claims she can do it in 8 hours by barely stopping and speeding lol.

This. Their goal isn't logical consistency. It's to confuse every individual issue to such a degree that there will be conflicting court cases, at which point the supreme Court can step in and rule in the least democratic judgement possible.

I'm not sure why they get to set the standard for what people need to conform to, but somehow never have to make any compromises of their own.

There have been studies that indicate that people who are not exposed to varieties of people constantly tend to not recognize faces and/or facial expressions on other races.

There are also studies that indicate that white patients are more likely to be prescribed painkillers when they're in pain, whereas black patients are more likely to be thought of as exaggerating.

I've had instances where I, as a white person, got immediate access to great medications. My black coworker, same illness around the same time, was told to take Sudafed and other OTCs.

The numbers also don't lie. Maternity mortality is higher for non-white patients. Surgical outcomes tend to be poorer. Follow care tends to be less stringent. It's across the board.

On one hand, there are some systemic things that can explain this. Drug interactions are kind of presumed to be identical for all races when you control for race, but that may not be the case - we may just be averaging out to a measure that is no longer useful. So biological differences, ability of the doctor to identify pain/issues, willingness to believe the patient, and all sorts of other things play in just as much if not more than overt racism.

I think you're right if the goal is to stop them all together.

But what we can do is stop people from sending them around and saying that it's true/actually the person.

Once they've turned it from a art project into a weapon, it should have similar consequences to "revenge porn."

It looks like red sharpie from the thumbnail, but when I looked at the full picture it's pretty clearly red splotches along the side of his index finger too, and that part does not look at all like sharpie.

Especially when you take into account that he's currently dealing with accusations of fixing his books for preferential bank and insurance treatment.
