It’s going to be one of those things where you pay to remove the obvious ads already marked as promoted content. Then it will be replaced by endless feed of accounts posting ai slop that markets specific items/ideas to people. Why get paid to put Tide ads on side banner when the user can pay you to receive fake content promoting right wing ideology (in exchange for access to power in the us). There is no world in which Facebook, a tool to generate fake consensus, is not filled with advertisements. Paid or not paid, you’re being advertised to on there

Usually that stuff is not included because women sex toys are seen as empowering while for men it’s seen as “gross, unnecessary, or otherwise perverted”. So I doubt they’re counting the fact that women have technically been fucking robots for a lot longer than men lol

Yeah I’d be okay if someone who has a Tesla was just honest and said that changing cars is a hassle and seems like too much effort given the backlash is new and the car is 4 years old. That’s at least a logically consistent argument and since they own the car already it doesn’t carry the same moral implications as buying a Tesla post Nazi Elon. Pretending it’s a financial hardship or that nobody would buy it is just lying to yourself I think. Plenty of politically clueless people still buy Teslas in the US.

Yeah it’s a weird take because if you can afford a Tesla you can afford the few grand it sank in value to get a different vehicle. It’s the usual wallet > morals type of deal where a guy who owns a company and can afford a Tesla is just worried about few hundred bucks

If all your morals are relative you can sign on to do some reprehensible shit when misinformed about a situation because relative to what you know killing another person might be righteous. That is generally not the best way to handle anything. If your baseline isn’t an unshakable one based in human empathy idk what you really ever stand for

That is the same sentiment my music teacher had 15 years ago and the same sentiment his music teacher did before that. I don’t think it’s illustrating the times as much as just that teaching is a tough and thankless job and most people aren’t interested in learning
