My idea is to implement a wealth tax rate of 3% on everything above an exempt amount of $10 million, that is to be paid annually.

This way, there is no hard limit. You can have more money without going to jail, but you have to help the community.

The rule would work something like this:

1. the rule applies to all citizens of the United States
2. calculate the total wealth of the person:
   • items such as money on bank accounts, shares in companies, real estate, and other valuables are estimated and added
   • debts and other negative value can be deducted
3. if the amount is less than $10 million, no taxes are paid
4. otherwise, subtract $10 million from the total net worth, then multiply by 0.03, that is the value that you have to pay

this procedure is to be repeated annually

to prevent people from giving up their US citizenship and taking on the citizenship of some other country, which may not have a wealth tax, there needs to be a way to make sure the US citizenship remains attractive to people. for example, if you do not have US citizenship, you're not allowed to possess more than $10 million in total wealth inside the US, i.e. in real estate, company shares and bank accounts.

i don't think it's likely that other nations will take out trump through a world war, as happened with hitler in WW2.

this is largely because i believe that other countries entered WW2 to stop hitler because they were getting attacked, or feared they were about to be attacked next. if trump doesn't outright attack other countries, i see little reason for other countries to use military force to stop the US or trump.

well, the interesting thing is that Karl Marx himself supported worker's right to bear arms, funnily enough.

knowing this, i've completely changed my point of view on firearms. yes, they do a lot of harm and definitely should be dealt with cautiously. and also it's completely beyond any meaningful stance that facebook allows pictures of firearms, but not naked breasts.

but apart from that, the issue of firearms is more interesting than it seems at first glance, and i guess a re-evaluation is warranted.

after all, the US is sometimes incredibly racist, and these voices are influential rn. so it's not surprising that there isn't really a lot of loud voices invoking the 2nd amendment rn. especially not from the trump supporters.

I think "personhood" refers to the ability to sign contracts though. It has nothing to do with voting.

The problem is with humanity giving up control to machines.

I mean, humanity (especially in the West) has already given up large amounts of power to corporate CEOs, which can be modelled as soulless machines well enough, but installing AI would take it even one step further.
