Despite his appearance and delivery, i always thought Norm was the most "punk rock" comedian. He actually stood for something, stood by his friends and was true to himself. I did not always agree with his bits... But i never thought he was outright hateful. I think he tried to touch on the humorous or more absurd elements of society, with his commentary. Which was mostly the stuff i liked least... However, i believe that while Norm may not have understood some of these things, he wasn't intolerant of them.

Norm was about as big of an anti-celebrity, celebrity as i can think of. He always seemed eager to be silly and to laugh, and to love his small group of friends. I'm fairly cemented as being left of center, and i adored Norm.

Check out "project farm" on YouTube. He has an excellent channel and had vids for puncture repair kits, portable compressors and jump packs. He is great.

Thank God... Or the EU regulations... Whichever.

Its nuts that during the Obama admin, all anyone cared about was the threat of zero privacy. Now everyone in the US has surrendered to it, because our politicians have sold our digital privacy rights to the tech companies.

I turned off cloud saves for it. It was murdering my patience when a friend would ask me to play another game while I was in a bg session. I cant figure out if it uploads ALL saves, or just the most recent. I quick save a ton, so i guess i could be to blame... But since im only playing on one pc, and not on my deck, i dont need the cloud save atm.

Granted, I am not active in many places where theories get bandied about.. but I have never heard any connection being made between the "Lightbringer" and the sword wielded by the House Dayne, "Dawn".. which is apparently hanging out in Dayne HQ waiting for the next Sword of the Morning to drop in and grab it.

Other than seeming too on the nose, this seems pretty much right on the nose to me... I dont know if there is much to be discussed on this, but would love to hear some other opinions on this idea.

Edit: just found a video with over 2 million views where it was mentioned... Lol. So i guess SOME people are talking about it. My bad!

Im specifically asking for channels that discuss the books, not the show. With my yt searches, it was difficult to separate the wheat from the chaff, so i thought id ask here.

Same... Imo he is the face of quackery.

Hey guys, I know this isnt a question regarding HAM.. so I apologize for that... But I couldnt think of another community that I could ask, since my knowledge of radio comms is so limited.

We run a non profit gaming convention, and we were looking for an affordable comms option for contacting one another across a pretty large INDOOR area. We bought some radios that served us in a less enclosed space.. but we have moved venues, and the block structure and range seems to be impeding our ability to reliably communicate.

I wondered if anyone could recommend an affordable (I am almost positive there will be no cheap options. lol.. but I had to ask) option for a few handesets, that we could find repeaters, to strengthen the signal, so we could stay in contact... or a more powerful out of the box solution that wouldnt require repeaters.

Again, I 1) apologize for the non HAMmy question and 2) for my general lack of understanding of radio comms, harware and verbiage. To say I have a basic knowledge in this tech would be giving me too much credit. :) We all have cellphones, but we end up missing a lot of messages on them.. so we wanted a better option if there is one.

I watched end to end, a hearing that could really alter our lives as we know it... and I couldnt stop thinking about was "I bet Burchett is impossible to be around." and "The lack of animation on Luna's face is either due to gallons of botox, or she is an alien in our midst."

Edit : removed a typo

I am still skeptical over all of this. It is just my nature. I am in the "I want to believe" camp, but just cant bring myself to believe it until I see it. I believe Fravor saw a tic-tac shaped object that defied physics. I believe we see UAPs all the time. I am not so sure that we havent developed some technology somewhere, that allows us to do unimaginable things like these craft have done. I know the arguments as to why it makes no sense that they are where they are doing what they are doing... I get the counters to what I think... but it doesnt make me stop thinking that it is most likely what it is.

Grusch (sp) is not Fravor. If he is being honest, great... that is great. But there is something in his body language i didnt like. I feel like he enjoys the spotlight to tell his story, more than he enjoys tellling his story.

To answer your question though, lets just say for a moment that what he is saying is true... that we have recovered craft, and some contained non human organics, and that they are aliens. I dont thikn we hear anything fast. I think there will continue to be meetings that get hushed up, while they formulate a system of responses. The public wil be the last to know.

Also in regards to this being a smokescreen for the Hunter Biden garbo... lets not forget that this could also be a smokescreen for the torrent of Trump indictments and legal woes. It seems like this distraction serves both sides equally... which to me, makes it all more of a viable diversion.

I think meta will dominate the space that federates with it. Hopefully none of my instances will do that... And I will be unaffected.

Lol

"Joerg Arnu’s love of Area 51 saw him move to the Nevada desert and build the world’s most comprehensive database about the mysterious military base. Ever since his homes were raided by federal agents eight months ago, he’s been trying to figure out why. "

My guess is his being raided had something to do with the "most comprehensive database" about a military base.

Thanks for the response! I will give it a go!

My local courses have pretty thick underbrush as well as several creeks... Im just getting started in the hobby, and wondered what retrieval tools yo7 guys would recommend.

Hey all, last week i was messing with my old rpi i had laying around. I had a couple of failed manual installs, before i realized there was just an image of retropie on the installer, and used it...

I messed around, installing some other things from the command line, that I read about on other dummy guides.

Well, i played a bit, and my saves for Metroid are borked... And the game has hotkeyed saves loads etc that are tied to reteoarch... I have a simple Buffalo SNES controller... So i dont have spare keys on it to rebind them to, and cannot completely unbind them even with a keyboard.

My question is, is retroarch part of the retropie install, or is it something i installed in the chaos of crap i did after my initial install? Can i uninstall it completely, or just reflash retropie? I have seen all of the losta regarding resetting the hotkey for the shortcuts... None of it seems to work, at least with this controller. Im supremely frustrated. I spent an hour or two assing with it last night... Configuring shortcuts from inside the game, without a rom loaded, and could not get any satisfaction.

Im pretty rudderless here, and obviously clueless about the inner workings of these things. So appreciate any advice.
