I remember buying this on cassette (from Hastings!) in the early 90's, popping it in the tape deck, and being absolutely FLOORED by Thieves as the opening track. Amazing album. Similar to another comment, I feel like this was their peak period, with the previous album (LoRaH) and following album (Psalm 69) also being strong albums. I still have this one in rotation, almost 35 years later (wow, that last part was painful to type). π€π» The "In Case You Didn't Feel Like Showing Up" authorized live recording from this period is also great.
I was recalling that Wells' "The Time Machine" has a crab like thing the main character encounters near the end...!
