It does not exist and it's becoming a big problem financially lol

I'm actually a freelancer but I grew tired of the grind and I'm looking to get back to teamwork and a mote stable position

Prey, I forgot Prey, but I haven't finished it yet, also Dishonored

I think the common denominator is a strong / immersive story and universe that appeals to me (big fan of sf), interesting mechanics and gameplay in a way that makes the game unique in its own way, and the artistic approach behind the game, so for each of those :

  • Outer Wilds was a fantastic experience that you can only live once, the freedom of exploration is crazy, the feelings you can go through in the span of a single minute make it so memorable, I connected with this game like no other
  • Death Stranding I played during one of the lockdowns, and after hiking in Iceland, it was a continuity of these two experiences that felt very personal. It was also my introduction to Kojima games. I found it to be such a premium experience and statement about video games, I loved the insanity of the plot, and once you dug deeper, you find all the artistic inspiration and process that went behind the game, it's an insane work of interactive art
  • Disco Elysium I was already fully on board just learning about the game, I sympathise with the authors, the fact that it started as an rpg campaign, with immense lore behind it, love the art style, the narration, the story and its themes, I haven't lived in post USSR Europe but the game make me nostalgic/melancholic for a time, aesthetic, struggles I didn't know

They're my absolute favourite but some games come close, Inscryption, Pyre, Spiritfarer...

Yeah, I usually take a minute or two to try and find words on my own, then get bored and just rush for small 4 letter words and all their plural combinations to get hints

I feel no pride guessing it "naturally" lol I just want to complete the thing and move on

It's not illegal to just jump off the earth into space, but we've been told it's dangerous out there and we can't breathe and it's too cold blah blah blah

But I'm pretty happy down there so I don't feel the need to meet with the Vortigaunts past the artificial black veil our government created to isolate us from the intergalactic gerontocracy

Hey friends,

I hope this post does not break the rules. Last year I ran Lemmyvision a song contest on Lemmy inspired by Eurovision where communities send songs in their countries' language. It's a fun opportunity to discover new music and new cultures.

The people from programming.dev had the fantastic idea to participate by sending a song from a video game soundtrack. I thought it was very fun, and I'd like to invite y'all from blahaj.zone to participate, maybe you could send a song made by a gender diverse person.

For those not in the loop, here's how it works:

TL;DR

  • From right now and until April 1st, discuss with your community on Lemmy about which song to send to the contest.
  • Submit the song in the Lemmyvision community by making a new thread.
  • On April 2nd, voting will begin, where you will rank your favourite songs in a form. Any song not submitted by this date will not be featured.
  • On April 8th, results of everyone’s favourite songs will be published.
  • You can use !lemmyvision@jlai.lu for any question, this will be the community for updates and results, make sure to subscribe if you’d like to stay in the loop.

You can find all the information needed on this post : https://jlai.lu/post/15932635

I hope this post does not break the rules, last year I ran Lemmyvision a song contest on Lemmy, and I'm excited to announce that the second edition is now live! You're invited to participate by sending a song in any official or regional language / dialect from Canada !

Given the multilingual aspect of your country, I'm open to multiple submissions (one for each language you'd like to represent, so Inuktitut, French Canadian, any First Nations languages are welcome) from lemmy.ca, just mention which language is linked to which submission 🤗

For those not in the loop, here's how it works:
