I kind of agree. Maybe we should think of it less as meaning an executive that's dysfunctional, and more as a dysfunction that makes you an executive :⁠-⁠P

Vector Pinball (also available on f-droid) is a pretty decent pinball game. Very lightweight, free, no ads.

Also Vodobanko (not free) for a hostage rescue type game. There's a free version too if you want to try before you buy.

There's https://bunny.net/fonts/ - basically Google fonts without the Google.

When using the clock/prime hub mode screensaver it cuts off the bottom part of the 'g' in 'eighteen', but only for the minutes and not the hour. It's a weird one because at eight minutes past the hour, the 'g' in 'eight' is fine.

I'm on the beta version of Android so bugs are expected, but Google say they can't reproduce this one. Has anyone else seen this?

  • Fixed pathfinding for common winged insects. When attempting to leave enclosed areas they should no longer bounce off windows two inches from the intended exit point.

I find the dedicated remote the Google TV ones have quite handy, and it makes it a bit more of a tv-like experience when I'm binge watching stuff.

As for extra features, the remote has a microphone so you can access the Google assistant. They're also full Android devices so you can install apps directly onto them such as games and use the remote as a controller, though I'm not sure how many are supported since I haven't tried that yet. Perhaps more usefully if you have a suitable USB hub and webcam you can use it for video calls, or plug in a harddrive and watch videos from that. Other than that if you're happy with second generation one, I don't think you're really missing out on much.
